PURPOSE: to provide an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to meet and exchange experience with successful women leaders of Georgia

  TRAINING FORMAT: provides for lectures, meetings with foreign colleagues, visits to enterprises organized by women entrepreneurs.

Day 1

  • Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport.
  • Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
  • Free time and rest.

REVIEW EXCURSION IN TBILISI During the excursion you are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the sights of the city, to visit architectural and historical monuments reflecting the 1500-year history of the capital. For the old city is characterized by a kind of architecture, residential buildings are different balconies with Georgian carvings, the streets are narrow, paved. It is significant that it is in the old city that there are temples of six different religions. Today you will see the architectural wonders of the capital: the Cathedral “Sameba” – a symbol of the Georgian revival, unity and immortality. It rises in the center of Tbilisi at the top of the mountain of st. Ilya. Temple “Metekhi” – founded in the 13th century. The temple is the burial of St. Shushaniki, the first Georgian martyr. And next to the church there is a monument to the founder of the city, Vakhtang Gorgasali. Metekhi is a true symbol of the Georgian faith, culture and history. Visiting the building of the Italian architect, the face of modern Tbilisi – the Bridge of Peace. On the left bank of the bridge is the temple of Sioni, founded in the 6th century. The venerable age of the temple is also indicated by the fact that its floor now lies almost three meters below the surface of the pavement. A sightseeing tour of Tbilisi includes visits to the following places: Abanotubani Quarter – this is where the history of the construction of Tbilisi begins, because “tbili” in Georgian means “warm”. Finding these sources, King Gorgasali ordered to build a city here. Visit to the mountain “Mtatsminda”, where the famous and amazing Park “Funicular” is located, from which the whole Tbilisi is in full view.

Visit to the VITA WINE wine boutique in Tbilisi (tasting of various brands of Georgian wines) In addition, we will look into the jeweler’s workshop and see the techniques of creating the famous Georgian enamel – Minankari, which is over 1000 years old!

  • 11:30 – 12:00 – Registration, coffee break
  • 12:00 – 13:30 – Session I (Eka Babunashvili, Certified Business Coach, Coach, Erickson International, ICBT, ICP Center), DISC- Licensed Specialist, Right Now Development (Kazakhstan), Selfmade (Kazakhstan) – training, 1 lecture)
  • 13:30 – 14:15 – Buffet
  • 14: 15 – 15:30 – Visit / Meeting – Rusudan Telia – Director of a scientific consulting company (ACT – Analysis & Consulting Team) , chairman of the women’s business association “Women for the Future.” It has a representative office in Almaty (Kazakhstan) and in Baku (Azerbaijan). Visit to the Company.
  • 15:30 – 16:00 – Reception
  • 16:00 – 17:15 – Meeting / Excursion with the director and owner of the company DIO – with Irma Daushvili.
  • 18: 00-20: 00 – Visiting the showrooms of Georgian designers Dots, Materiel. Free evening when you can walk to the street Barnova, which is famous for its shops with clothes, shoes and accessories from Georgian designers and local brands. In this case, we recommend you have your own dinner at the establishment O, Moda, Moda, which is a hybrid establishment and consists of a showroom and a cafe.

Day 3

  • Breakfast
  • Training seminar course (Part 2)
  • 12:00 – 13:30 – Visit to the speaker at the enterprise, introduction (Anna Mikadze-Chikvaidze – head of the cheese producers’ guild of Georgia, founder of the “House of Cheese”).
  • 13:30 – 15:30 – Lunch
  • 15: 30 – 17:00 – Sesia II – Khatuna Lagazidze – former member of the National Security Council of Georgia, an expert on defense and security issues.
    17: 30-19: 30 – free time, rest.
  • 20:00 – 22:00 – business gala dinner from the company Vita Travel with the participation of lecturers.

Dinner will be held in a traditional Georgian restaurant with a show program and folklore dances and music (Mukhambazi). This Georgian feast is when endless respect and love for the guest, devotion to the duties of the host, the national traditions of the feast are handed down from generation to generation. Therefore, the very best that is in Georgian cuisine is put on the table. Georgian feasts are known for their scope, where the number of food and drinks offered often even exceeds the guests’ ability to eat and drink it all.

Day 4

Kakheti – Patardzeuli Winery – Sighnaghi – Getiashvili Cellar – Tbilisi

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Departure to the region of winemaking – Eastern Georgia – Kakheti. In Patardzeuli, on the way to Sighnaghi, we will visit the winery “KAKHETIAN TRADITIONAL WINE FARMS”, you will get acquainted with the technology of making Georgian wine. Wine tasting. Visit the Bodbi nunnery where the tomb of Saint Nino, an enlightener of Georgia, is located. Here a healing spring in a cave beats, where pilgrims are bathing (we do not descend to the spring). Next we will visit the city of love – Sighnaghi, a small, very beautiful town surrounded by walls, famous for its unique architecture. From the city there is a stunning view of the famous Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains. Visit the family wine cellar-Marani winemaker Giorgi Getiashvili: here you will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the life of Kakheti peasants, try local wine straight from kvevri (large earthen jars buried in the ground), to participate in the preparation of Georgian dishes.
    At the end you will find a real Kakhetian feast with Georgian dishes and an unlimited number of home wines, as well as Georgian singing!
  • 18:00 – return to Tbilisi, a little rest at the hotel and free time.

Day 5

  • 07: 00-09: 00 – breakfast at the hotel and the release of rooms.
  • In the morning visit to the economic market (bazaar). Bazaars in Tbilisi is an absolutely amazing place. Here you will see mountains of a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, seasonings, sunelis and spices … Meet the long rows of various cheeses – buzzing and sulguni, corn flour for gomi (corn flour), churchkhe of different colors and flavors.
  • Transfer to the airport of Tbilisi.
